"Bahandi Mandih"

With 4,388 people representing a variety of cultures, Mandih is the largest and most populated amongst 52 barangays in Sindangan, ZDN. Given its fertile soil, the community grows an abundance of rice, corn, root crops, and other agricultural items. The Bisayan word for treasures and wealth is Bahandi. As a result, the term "Bahandi Mandih" is coined.

"Unsay ilang ginabuhat?"

Community medicine focuses on disease prevention, the causes and transmission of diseases within populations, as well as the impact of the environment and society on health and disease. Thus, the team is immersed in the community to render primary and secondary healthcare services; whether promotional, preventative, curative, and rehabilitative, with confidence and utmost empathy.

With this, team Mandih-rigma holds out hope that more can be done to help individuals in need, that NO ONE is left behind in our collective pursuit towards health equity.
